Have a variety of search functions to allow students to search for subjects available based on semester (eg. Summer, Sem 1, etc) rather than having to go and look at all the subjects one might be interested at doing and then finding out if they are going to be carried out all the time.
Alternatively have a list of all subjects that would be running on a page at each semester/holiday period.4 votes
for a few of the subjects, the description of the subject were not accurate, the assessments were not right either. Also, I personally found it hard to decipher the time commitment of the subject. I would rather see how many lectures/tutorials/practical I have per week or fornight rather than the total per semester.1 vote
Make it easier to find the cost of a course in the handbook or website. Currently it is very difficult to find unless you are already a student.1 vote
Hi, Thank you for getting in touch. You can find information on fees for courses on our Future students website, which you can find here:https://futurestudents.unimelb.edu.au/admissions/fees
In the new version of the handbook, it takes four clicks (or more) to find out the prescribed text(s) for a subject. All information - including prescribed texts - used to be on one page. Can the prescribed texts be included in the summary information for each subject?1 vote
Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave us with your feedback.
That’s a good point and something we will look into as the prescribed texts are an important part in student decision making.
I think that should add a korean language rather than just Japanese.1 vote
Hey There, Thanks for getting in touch and providing us with your recommendations.
We shall pass it on to the Asia Institute at the University of Melbourne, who deliver our Asian language courses.
