making timetable more convenient to use
Other universities, e.g. the University of Auckland in New Zealand, have personal timetable for each student for each week with prac/lab class appearing in the timetable only when the student has prac/lab in that week.
Right now in Unimelb, student need to check PDF documents on LMS about when and where they have prac/lab classes, which leads to repetitive checking and feeling scared that they might forget prac/lab class or have mistakenly read the wrong line in the document. By having a timetable that automatically show prac/lab class only when the students have one can really reduce our stress and make our lives easier.
Also, timetables for students in the University of Auckland can be downloaded and automatically entered into google calendar or mac calendar. This means that students do not need to enter timetables manually, which is what we have to do right now.
In conclusion, unimelb has really good website pages to the public. However, IT on timetable management has already fallen way way behind and it is not excepted to be seen in "AUS NO.1 UNI". There are much more to be improved on timetable management in making student's study life easier.
Worst website in the world to use
Timetable should be made so it is possible to import into google calendar or other calendar applications.
the timetable system is really difficult to use and navigate. maybe a more user friendly system would be helpful

The student timetable is currently extremely hard to view on mobile devices. Please make an option to zoom out so that the whole timetable can be viewed at once, or at least the majority of it.
